Flawless Imaging has just installed another scanning system to work along side the faithful cross-field drum scanner still in operation. Until now we have only been able to scan a max artwork size of 50cm x 70cm, the original had to be flexible and no more then 1mm thick. 

We are excited to present our new Contex HD3600 scanning system this scanning system is a large upgrade from our current drum scanners. It features advanced technology and quality imaging for colour and monochrome scanning. The maximum scanning width is 914mm with the maximum media width being 1118mm, the scanning length is unlimited and depends on the original. 

Another advantage is unlike the drum scanners only having 1mm thickness tolerance the Contex HD can scan up to 15mm thick and it doesn't have to be flexible. 
Other key features on the Contex is the amazing clarity, the scanner is ideal for scanning artist original paintings for reproduction, drawings and architectural plans the 600 optical dpi resolution and the max resolution being 9600dpi insures maximum quality is achieved.
